Glasgow and the surrounding towns

Glasgow City

Glasgow

ESCO Plumbing™ is based in Glasgow and works across the whole city, from West End tenements to Southside villas and new flats along the Clyde. We cover plumbing, central heating, boilers, gas appliances and air conditioning.

East Dunbartonshire

Bearsden

Bearsden is known for its large Victorian and Edwardian villas and its quiet streets of interwar and post-war bungalows. Bigger homes need heating systems that can keep up, and that is where most of our work here begins.

Plumbing and heating in Bearsden

Bishopbriggs

Many Bishopbriggs homes are interwar bungalows or mid-century family houses that are now being opened up, extended and modernised. We plan the plumbing, heating and gas work that goes with those projects.

Plumbing and heating in Bishopbriggs

Kirkintilloch

Kirkintilloch, the canal town on the Forth and Clyde Canal, has everything from older stone terraces and former council houses to new developments near the water. Whatever the house, the calls we get are usually about something that has stopped working.

Plumbing and heating in Kirkintilloch

Lenzie

Lenzie grew as a Victorian railway village, and its stone villas and early twentieth-century houses still give the place its character. Behind that period charm there is often pipework that is many decades old.

Plumbing and heating in Lenzie

Milngavie

Milngavie sits on the edge of open countryside, at the start of the West Highland Way. Homes here enjoy the hills and reservoirs on the doorstep, but they also feel the cold snaps first, so winter readiness shapes much of our work.

West Dunbartonshire

Clydebank

Clydebank is famous for its shipbuilding past, and much of the town was rebuilt after heavy bombing in the Second World War. Today it is a town of flats as much as houses, and that shapes the plumbing problems we see.

Plumbing and heating in Clydebank

Dumbarton

Below the famous castle on Dumbarton Rock, the town mixes older tenements, post-war family houses and newer flats near the River Leven. Many of our jobs here start when someone has just moved in.

Plumbing and heating in Dumbarton

Argyll and Bute

Helensburgh

Helensburgh is a planned town of broad, gridded streets rising from the Firth of Clyde, home to Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Hill House and many substantial Victorian villas. Big rooms and coastal weather make heating the main concern here.

Plumbing and heating in Helensburgh

Renfrewshire

Bishopton

Bishopton combines an older village core with one of Renfrewshire's biggest new housing developments. That mix means very different plumbing and heating needs, sometimes within a short walk of each other.

Plumbing and heating in Bishopton

Erskine

Erskine, beside the Erskine Bridge on the south bank of the Clyde, was largely built from the 1970s onwards. Its estates are now old enough that many original heating systems are due an upgrade, while newer streets bring different needs.

Plumbing and heating in Erskine

Johnstone

Johnstone grew up around its cotton mills, and many homes still carry plumbing from another era. We help households modernise it safely, one job at a time.

Plumbing and heating in Johnstone

Paisley

From sandstone tenements near the town centre to family homes on the outskirts, Paisley has a wide mix of properties. ESCO Plumbing™ handles repairs, boilers and landlord certificates across the town, day or night.

Plumbing and heating in Paisley

Renfrew

Renfrew sits on the south bank of the Clyde, with older terraces and council-built houses alongside newer riverside flats. We look after plumbing, heating and boilers for all of them.

East Renfrewshire

Barrhead

Barrhead has a long connection with bathrooms: the Shanks sanitaryware works made baths, basins and toilets here for generations. Today we keep the town's taps, toilets, boilers and radiators working.

Plumbing and heating in Barrhead

Clarkston

Clarkston is a settled residential area of bungalows, semi-detached houses, villas and flats around the Toll. Many households have lived in the same home for years, and their heating has quietly aged with them.

Plumbing and heating in Clarkston

Giffnock

Giffnock's red sandstone villas and tree-lined streets of interwar bungalows are a pleasure to live in, but the heating in these older homes often needs some care to keep up.

Plumbing and heating in Giffnock

Newton Mearns

Newton Mearns is known for spacious family houses, many with several bathrooms, large kitchens and extensions. Homes like these need heating and hot water systems sized for the way they are actually used.

Plumbing and heating in Newton Mearns

South Lanarkshire

Blantyre

Blantyre grew as a mill and mining community and is known as the birthplace of David Livingstone. Today it is mostly a residential town of former council houses, private semis and new-build estates, each with its own heating needs.

Plumbing and heating in Blantyre

Cambuslang

Cambuslang sits on the south side of the Clyde, just east of Rutherglen, and its homes range from Victorian villas and sandstone tenements to post-war semis and newer estates. We handle plumbing, heating and boiler work across all of them.

Plumbing and heating in Cambuslang

East Kilbride

East Kilbride was Scotland's first new town, planned around neighbourhoods such as The Murray, Westwood, Calderwood and St Leonards. Its homes share many of the same plumbing and heating traits, and we know what to look for.

Plumbing and heating in East Kilbride

Hamilton

Hamilton is the administrative centre of South Lanarkshire and one of the largest towns in the county, with housing to match: town-centre tenements, Victorian and Edwardian villas, post-war estates and plenty of modern developments.

Plumbing and heating in Hamilton

Rutherglen

Rutherglen is one of Scotland's oldest royal burghs, with red sandstone tenements around Main Street, villas in Burnside and a wide spread of post-war and newer housing. Each type of home brings its own plumbing questions.

Plumbing and heating in Rutherglen

Uddingston

Uddingston, home of the Tunnock's bakery and close to Bothwell Castle, has a good share of traditional stone villas and cottages alongside newer streets. Older properties like these bring their own plumbing and heating quirks, and we know how to deal with them.

Plumbing and heating in Uddingston

North Lanarkshire

Airdrie

Airdrie is an old market town set on high ground in the Monklands, and winters here can be noticeably colder than in Glasgow. Preparing your plumbing and heating before the frosts arrive saves a great deal of trouble later.

Plumbing and heating in Airdrie

Bellshill

Bellshill lies between Uddingston and Motherwell, and much of its housing is made up of semis, terraces and cottage flats, many of them former council homes. These are practical family houses, and small improvements to heating and plumbing make a big difference.

Plumbing and heating in Bellshill

Coatbridge

Coatbridge grew rapidly as the centre of Scotland's iron industry, earning the name the Iron Burgh, and the Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life tells that story. Its homes reflect that history, from sandstone tenements to the council housing that followed.

Plumbing and heating in Coatbridge

Cumbernauld

Cumbernauld is one of Scotland's post-war new towns, built on a hilltop site with neighbourhoods such as Seafar, Kildrum, Abronhill and Condorrat. Most of its homes date from the 1960s onwards, and many still have their original heating layouts.

Plumbing and heating in Cumbernauld

Motherwell

Motherwell was built on steel, and the former Ravenscraig works site is now home to new housing. That makes the town a real mix of brand-new homes and older flats, terraces and post-war semis.

Plumbing and heating in Motherwell

Wishaw

Wishaw sits on rising ground on the east side of the Clyde valley, next door to Motherwell. Its older terraces, flats above shops and large post-war estates all feel the cold in a hard winter, and that shapes much of the work we do here.

Plumbing and heating in Wishaw
